Johnny D grew up in Atlanta and began his career in the club industry at 17. He learned to DJ from some of the best talent in the Southeast. DJ Johnny D has played in many diverse venues and at events from Toronto down to Tampa and over to Las Vegas. He started his on-air radio career in 2004 and his passion for music has only grown. Johnny D's radio experience give him the ability to deliver sponsor mentions in creative ways, while entertaining over 10,000 people at events such as Warrior Dash and The Montgomery Dragon Boat Race & Festival to over 40,000 people at the Athens Twilight Criterium and even over 1.5 Million people On-air in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
